Jehovah's Witnesses bought more real estate in the UK for £5 Million
by emeth inhttp://www.borehamwoodtimes.co.uk/news/11016729.former_home_of_cardif_pinnacle_bought_by_jehovah_s_witnesses/.
.
the former home of an insurance company will now be used to store bibles by a christian sect.. jehovah's witnesses have bought 1 elstree way in borehamwood, formerly known as pinnacle place, from cardif pinnacle for 4,928,000.. the building will be used by the international bible students association, a corporation of the jehovah's witnesses which distributes bibles and other religious literature.. the non-profit organisation currently operates out of properties throughout mill hill and borehamwood, with headquarters in the ridgeway in mill hill.. it employs 700 people in printing, storing and distributing religious literature throughout britain, europe and africa.. a spokesman for the jehovahs witnesses said the association had outgrown its existing premises and had bought the large building to consolidate its operations.. it will use the new acquisition to store magazines, pamphlets and bibles as well as making full use of the office space.. however it will continue to maintain its headquarters in mill hill, where the literature is printed.. the sale went through in december and the international bible students association is currently preparing the building so it can move in.. jehovahs witnesses are best known for their door-to-door evangelical work, offering bible literature and recruiting and converting people to their beliefs.. the spokesman for the movement said: we are all about bible education and we print biblical literature to distribute around the world.. the people of borehamwood will probably not notice anything different as we are making no changes to the actual building, which is why we did not need planning permission..

Frazzied thanks for the kind reply. You ask would i reccomend my kid gets a university degree? He is only 9 years old, but i would encourage him with his education. Try to make it fun. And yes i would like Orlando to go to university, even encourage it if it was to study someting he wants to become...but i hope my rncouragement is only encouragement. Maybe he wants to become a witness? i hope i have the knowledge to question his thinking...but thats as far as it goes.

Frazzle ...its funny how women living in big houses saw the young fleash of youth and not there husbands .
Liza Rose...i had no education as a window cleaner and no education owning my own estate agency. I retired at 35 and havnt worked in 15 years..my point being ....its attitude and we can all get a P.H.D or be doctors, even laywers...so what. Its about justice and humanity ...and my point is life is not about where we come from ....its about who we are inside. I say life its about luck and chance, and when we see that...ie my kid is 9 and in good health thats all that matters.

"Writing . . . is a lonely life."
by compound complex in"writing, at its best, is a lonely life.
organizations for writers palliate the writer's loneliness but i doubt if they improve his writing.
he grows in public stature as he sheds his loneliness and often his work deteriorates.

A writter needs a subject, and if that subject is humanity how can he ever be alone. I think compound and complex you once wrote in an earlier post, about a park bench...well did you invent the charactors on that park bench or were they experiences from people you new? Sorry Earnest Hemmingway writting is the least lonly profession,,,with or without the Noble Price for literature.

Yea NVR.yesterday my kid told me he wants to play for Man United...i think all 9 year olds should have that dream and not be told its better to serve Jehover. But not defending the watchtower, if my boy doesnt want to go to university, i wont make him. ..he can be a laywer or a postman, but whats important is its his choice. ( Hope its not to start a new religion)

Thanks for the kind replys...
I would say that having a skilled job and earning lots of money makes being a father very hard.
Iam not a rich man in monthly income, i live on the rental of two properties i own. But i have had nine fantastic years with my kid...worth so much more than money. So i think ...well i moved to sweden so i am out the competitive world in England. I think the skills needed to govern anybody are not dictated by what job a person has. The skill is to learn that you dont have that right nor responsibility to change another. I can honestly say my nine year old child has taught me more than anybody. When he was 4 he told me to calm down when i got cross in a traffic jam.
